Ana Ferreira works on social studies of science and innovation with a research contract under the programme “Scientific Employment Stimulus” (DL57/2016/CP1453/CT0077). She has participated and coordinated research projects and is the author of several journal articles and book chapters including the paper Profiles of malaria research in Portugal: organizing, doing and thinking in science under capitalism, published in 2019 by the journal Science and Technology Studies. She is a board member of the Portuguese Association of Sociology.
