André Carmo holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Lisbon and an MSc in Modernity, Space and Place from University College London. He is an assistant professor at the School of Science and Technology of the University of Évora. His research interests focus on dynamics of urban transformation, epistemology of geography, pedagogy and geographical education.
