Beatriz Casais is an assistant professor at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho, in the area of marketing and strategy. She has a PhD in Business Sciences - Marketing and Strategy variant, from the University of Porto, a Master in Marketing, graduated in Journalism and Communication Sciences, with post-graduation in Communication in Health, from the same university, she was previously marketing and communication manager in the Ministry of Health - National Coordination for HIV / AIDS infection and journalist in the Diário Económico and Rádio Renascença.
She carries out her research in the areas of social marketing, public and non-profit marketing, advertising and public relations, digital marketing, e-commerce and e-marketplaces, as well as in the area of economics of sharing. The researcher has published the research results in scientific journals such as the Journal of Social Marketing, Tourism Management Perspectives, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Review of International Business and Strategy, Place Branding and Public Diplomacy, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour & Research, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology, International Review on Public and Nonprofit Marketing, Health Marketing Quarterly, or the Journal of Macromarketing, among other scientific journals and book chapters.
Research Interests:
Public and non-profit social marketing. Digital marketing. relationship management in the economics of sharing. Sustainable marketing. Corporate social responsibility.
