Catarina Delaunay is currently an integrated researcher of CICS.NOVA – Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She has also worked as a consultant at Mário Soares Foundation for 20 years. Her master dissertation has been awarded the Woman Research Prize 2001 Carolina Michaëlis de Vasconcelos and published in a book. From mid-2010 to mid-2016 she was a postdoctoral fellow at CICS.NOVA (Portugal) and EHESS (France) with a project financed by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology. Her current research interests are sociology of health and medicine, sociology of science, technology and innovation, and pragmatic sociology.
