David Paz-Beirante is a Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences of the New University of Lisbon (CICS.NOVA) where he integrates the research group in Education, Knowledge and Culture. He has a degree in Applied Mathematics, a Masters in Educational Sciences and a PhD in Sociology from the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (UNL), and is currently developing sociological studies in the areas of education and youth sociabilities and involvements. He has experience in the area of methodology, to which he dedicates a significant part of his scientific research.
