Eva Gonçalves holds a PhD in Sociology from ISCTE-IUL and is currently an integrated researcher as post-doc in Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (CICS.NOVA). She is one of the researchers in charge of the project “Building success in every school: In Cascais nobody stays behind”, and has been a member of the research team in ESCXEL Project – School Network for Excellence since 2008. She has published articles, books and book chapters in the field of Sociology of Education, certified courses for teachers training, and is a certified trainer since 2007.
