Isabel Lousada is a researcher at NOVA FCSH - CICS.NOVA Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences and collaborates with CLEPUL - Centre for the Study of Lusophone and European Literature and Culture. Lousada belongs to several NGO, especially concerning women's issues and at present is secretary of the board of AMONET - Portuguese Association for Women in Science and Vice-President of the MIMA - International Museum for Women - Association - Lisbon. Isabel Lousada is also a member of the board of WWIH - Women Writers in History DARIAH-EU working group.
