Luis Filipe Marques has a PhD in Management and Urban and Arquitectural Valorisation by the Escola Técnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona. He holds Master and Post-graduation degrees in Territorial and Environmental Planning by the FCT/UNL, and a Degree in Geography and Regional Planning by the NOVA FCSH. He is Senior Technician at Inspeção-Geral dos Ministérios do Ambiente, Ordenamento do Território e Energia e da Agricultura e do Mar, Portugal. He has colaborated with several institutions of public management (local, regional and central levels) and private entities on research projects associated with the thematics of territorial planning and environment (mostly using Geographical Information Technologies).
