Cristina Moreira hols a PhD in Economics. She is Member of the Department of Economics of the University of Minho and Member of the Board of the Master of Social Economy (MES). She was Director of the MES and the Research Center in European, Industrial and International Economics, and was Vice-President of the APHES General Assembly. She has supervised 3 doctoral theses and several master's theses. Recently she is Postdoctoral Advisor of Rodrigo da Costa Dominguez, project The Marco de Navios and its contribution to the fiscal system during the Royal Treasury (1761-1833). She has participated in doctoral and master's juries and ollaborates as referee in the country and abroad.


Research Interests:

Economic and Social History in the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries: Foreign Trade. Economy and War. Economy in Tourism. Social Economy.
