Mária Cristina Ribeiro Correia de Almeida has a degree in Mathematics (University of Lisbon), a Master's Degree in Education Sciences (Universidade Lusófona), and a PhD in Education (New University of Lisbon). She teaches Mathematics in secondary school and is coordinator of the History and Memories of Mathematical Education Group (APM) and of the Mathematical History and Memory of Teaching collection.
Research Interests:
History of mathematical education. Teacher training. Telescola. Curriculum development in mathematics.
