Activities aimed at students

 

Cláudia Urbano, integrated researcher at CICS.NOVA, promoted the internship « O consumo de álcool pelos jovens - uma abordagem sociológica», from July 2 to July 7 2018, within the framework of the Ciência Viva Short Placements in Laboratories. This program is promoted by research institutions and Ciência Viva, offering high school students the opportunity to get involved in research teams in science and technology institutions, during their Summer holidays.
The program has been running since 1997 and has been attended by more than 15,000 students.

 

CICS.NOVA.UÉVORA promoted the internship «Roadshow da Sociologia, Ciência e Profissão na Intervenção Social», between 11 and 22 July 2016, within the framework of the Ciência Viva Short Placements in Laboratories. This internship was coordinated by Carlos Alberto da Silva, integrated researcher at CICS.NOVA.UÉvora, and promoted by research institutions and Ciência Viva.




Patrícia Pereira, integrated researcher at CICS.NOVA, promoted the internship «Explorar o quotidiano da cidade a partir da perspectiva sociológica», from July 18 to July 22 2016, within the framework of Ciência Viva Short Placements in Laboratories. This program is promoted by research institutions and Ciência Viva, offering high school students the opportunity to get involved in research teams in science and technology institutions, during their Summer holidays.
 



CESNOVA (currently CICS.NOVA) participated in the 18ª Edition of Scientific Ocupation, partnering with e-GEO (currently CICS.NOVA). The two research units, at the time, offered the following internships: «Onde param as mulheres? Uma incursão pelos Estudos de Género», by the researcher Isabel Lousada; «Responsabilidade Social das Empresas. Qual o impacto no apoio a projetos de jovens empreendedores?», by the researcher Jordi Nofre; «Uso de Geotecnologias Aplicadas ao Planeamento Regional - Um Estudo de Caso na Serra da Arrábida», by researcher Marcos Pelegrina; «Paisagens sagradas? Para quê e Para quem?», by researcher Maria do Rosário Oliveira; and Envelhecer com Bem-Estar em Coruche. O que tens a dizer?», by researcher Ana Fernandes. CESNOVA organized also the courses «Intervenção social: da identificação dos problemas à programação das atividades», at the Évora hub, and «O que é a Violência de Género? CESNOVA (currently CICS.NOVA) participated in the 17th edition of Ciência Viva Short Placements in Laboratories, offering the following internships: «Ética e Responsabilidade Social para jovens investigadores», by the researcher Mónica Freitas; «Onde param as mulheres? Uma incursão pelos estudos de género», by the researcher Isabel Lousada; «Vem ser editor numa revista! Estágio no Forum Sociológico», by the researchers Patrícia Pereira and Luís Gouveia; and «Diálogo entre gerações: o que tens a dizer? (participation in the project PLEA-Projecto Promoção Local Envelhecimento Activo-Coruche)», by Maria João Bárrios.
